Refreshing Our Core System with ANDPAD

What Is ANDPAD?

We have transitioned our internal systems to the cloud-based construction management app ANDPAD. ANDPAD is a construction project management service that streamlines everything from on-site efficiency to management-level improvements on a single platform. It allows project information, blueprints, schedules, photos and invoices to be shared in the cloud for each job, and progress can be checked instantly via smartphone or tablet. Thanks to this convenience and operational efficiency, the service is used by more than 216,000 companies with 550,000 registered users, and has been the market leader in construction management apps for seven consecutive years.

Why ANDPAD? — Our Challenges and Background

Although we had already been using ANDPAD for site management, we decided to overhaul our entire core system due to the following issues:

Limitations of the Existing System

Relying on paper drawings and multiple disparate systems made it time‑consuming to manage progress and share information on site. Data related to operations was scattered, and information before sales recognition was effectively a black box, making it difficult to visualize key performance indicators.

Industry-Wide Challenges

The construction industry is facing an aging workforce and labor shortages. To strengthen recruitment and onboarding, improve efficiency and collaborate with AI, we began considering a new core system.

ANDPAD as a Driver of Digital Transformation

By adopting ANDPAD, we can manage drawings, schedules, inspection records, photos and other project data on a single cloud platform, visualizing site conditions and reducing human error. Since instructions can be viewed on screen, even in our remote-heavy environment, tasks can be carried out from afar with minimal checks, preventing work from becoming overly dependent on individual knowledge.

As a manufacturer-authorized installation company, we provide remodeling directly to customers while receiving orders from various types of renovation companies. Specializing in water-related projects such as bathrooms and kitchens, we concluded that a complete migration of our core system was essential to preserve and pass on the on-site experience, product knowledge and installation techniques we have accumulated over the years.

Summary

In implementing the new system, we committed ourselves to “preserving the Japanese culture of bathrooms” and made sure that everyone involved in daily operations is always aware of what we are collectively working toward. We also carefully designed every data touchpoint from order to handover, aiming to create a system that brings joy not only to us but also to our customers.
Furthermore, we will gradually introduce measures that leverage the data accumulated in the new system: AI-driven schedule optimization, automatic forecasting for material orders and risk detection for quality issues. These steps will accelerate the flow of information between our sites and head office, raise the quality of decision‑making, reduce staff workload and improve service quality.

Outlook and Our Commitment to Customers

Moving to ANDPAD is not the goal—it’s the starting line of our construction digital transformation. We will continue to blend AI with human expertise to pursue greater efficiency and productivity while balancing workload reduction for those working on-site with the value we deliver to our customers. By actively sharing the latest information on construction DX and AI utilization, we intend to contribute to innovation across the entire industry.
