MEGAVAX’s Two-Person Multi-Skilled Crew “Bathers X” Featured on PIVOT!

MEGAVAX, Inc.’s bathroom renovation worksite and its “Bathers X” team were featured in “Is Blue-Collar Work Really Attractive?”, the first episode of PIVOT REAL, a new program from business video platform PIVOT. The episode was released on July 25, 2026.
The program introduces the work carried out at an actual bathroom renovation site, the division of roles within a two-person crew, the way Bathers work, and the career paths of team members who moved into the trade from other industries.
At the center of the feature is a practical system designed to address the shortage of skilled workers and the challenge of passing skills to the next generation: developing people with multiple installation skills, assigning responsibility to two-person teams, and linking acquired skills to the value of their work and how that work is evaluated.

“Bathers X”: A Two-Person Multi-Skilled Crew

“Bathers X” is a two-person multi-skilled crew that handles bathroom renovations end-to-end—from demolition to finishing—in a single workflow.
Renovating a unit bath requires multiple processes and skills, including demolition, plumbing and equipment work, assembly, and final handover. In Bathers X, a Bather with an expanded skill set and another team member divide the work and complete the project as one crew.
Rather than concentrating the work on one person, two people share the physical load and divide the skilled work. An experienced team member can keep the project moving while passing on work methods and on-site judgment to the next generation of workers. Bathers X is a team model designed to improve construction productivity while supporting workforce development on the same job site.

“X SOLUTIONS”: More Than 20 Years of Multi-Skill Development

Behind Bathers X is “X SOLUTIONS,” MEGAVAX’s approach to multi-skill development—an initiative the company has pursued for more than 20 years.
At MEGAVAX, “X” stands for multi-skill. Team members progressively expand the scope of work they can handle beyond unit-bath assembly to include demolition, plumbing and equipment work, handover, and customer explanations, linking the skills they acquire to their roles and how they are evaluated.
MEGAVAX’s response to the shortage of residential equipment installation professionals is not simply to recruit more people. It is to build a system in which people with no prior experience, as well as those changing careers from other industries, can acquire skills and grow into specialized professionals with long-term careers. This is the MEGAVAX initiative at the heart of both the PIVOT feature and the company’s second appearance on WBS.

AI and Digital Tools Support the People Working On Site

MEGAVAX’s policy is to use AI and digital tools not to replace on-site work, but to support the judgment, training, productivity, and evaluation of the people who perform it.
The skills required on site, along with the ability to communicate with customers, are refined through human experience. By sharing that experience within teams and supporting it with digital tools, expertise does not remain with one individual—it can be passed on to the next generation of professionals.
