The impact extends well beyond our industry, affecting sectors such as healthcare and textiles, making this a widespread challenge across the economy.
Below, we outline the latest announcements from each manufacturer as of today, along with MEGAVAX’s response.
Manufacturer Status (As of April 22, 2026)
TOTO LTD. | Announced April 13
Affected Products: System baths, unit baths, and toilet units (all series)
Status: New orders have resumed gradually since April 20, with production and shipment continuing as usual. The scope of accepted orders is expected to expand further in the coming week. TOTO continues to work with suppliers and related parties to secure stable supply of certain components.
Existing Orders: Please confirm with your designated sales representative.
LIXIL Corporation | April 14 (1st Report) / April 15 (2nd Report)
Affected Products: System bathrooms (all series) / Toilets, faucets, and electric water heaters (all series) / Kitchens and vanity units (all series) / Tiles and related materials (all series)
Status: Bathroom products: new orders placed on or after April 14 are subject to indefinite delivery timelines, with shipment volumes expected to decrease significantly from May. Order suspension may follow. Toilets, faucets, and electric water heaters remain available for now, though excessive stock orders are restricted. Kitchens and vanity units: order caps introduced as of April 15. Tiles and related materials: excessive stock orders and provisional orders are now subject to shipment restrictions.
Existing Orders: Bathroom products with confirmed delivery dates will be fulfilled as scheduled. Kitchens and vanity units are being fulfilled as normal for now, though this may change. Tile products with confirmed delivery dates will be fulfilled as scheduled.
Cleanup Corporation | April 13 (1st Report) / April 14 (2nd Report) / April 21 (4th Report)
Affected Products: System bathrooms (all types) / All other products and parts
Status: System bathrooms: new orders resumed as of April 22. Delivery timelines will be confirmed on a per-shipment basis based on order volume. Scheduling adjustments may be required if orders are concentrated. Speculative or provisional orders should be avoided. All other products and parts: orders continue to be accepted, though supply conditions may be adjusted depending on future developments.
Existing Orders: Delivery timelines and specifications may be subject to change depending on order volume. Please confirm with your sales representative. (No change)
TAKARA STANDARD CO., LTD. | Announced April 13
Affected Products: Select products
Status: Orders are still being accepted, and measures to maintain stable supply are underway. However, prolonged disruptions may affect delivery timelines, available quantities, and pricing.
Panasonic Housing Solutions Co., Ltd. | Announced April 14
Affected Products: All bath-related products and all toilet-related products
Status: New orders placed on or after April 14 are subject to indefinite delivery timelines.
Existing Orders: Orders placed by April 13 will be delivered as originally scheduled.
